The Main House

A private estate house built for the whole table. Seven bedrooms and eight king beds, three full baths and two half, a chef's kitchen with an island the length of a canoe, and a resort pool nobody else is using.

The home
  • Family reunions
  • Milestone birthdays
  • Friends' weekends
  • Retreats and off-sites
  • Multi-generational holidays

You arrive through the gate and up the long drive; the house is lit and the door is already yours. Inside, a grand entry opens to a great room with a fireplace and windows the height of the wall, a formal dining room for the long dinners, and a kitchen that has cooked for sixteen without anyone bumping elbows.

Downstairs is where evenings go: a lounge with an 85-inch screen, a foosball table, a stationary bike, and an underground stone wine cellar that feels like a speakeasy. Outside, the covered deck, the fire pit and a resort-style pool with loungers face a hundred acres of forest and trails that are entirely yours for the stay.

Self check-in, contactless. But the family that owns the estate is one message away, and a crew on the ground looks after the property between stays.

The master has its own full bath; bedrooms six and seven sit on the ground floor of the garage building, no stairs. Up to twenty sleep here with the extra kit.

L-shaped, three feet at the shallow arm to ten at the deep end. Unheated, so it swims best from late May through September — ask about your dates if the pool is central to the trip.

The lower level

A basement lounge with an 85-inch screen, a foosball table and a stationary bike. Not a cinema — a good place for a long evening.

An underground tasting room for the evening that runs late.

Chef's kitchen

Premium appliances, a massive island with bar seating, and a formal dining room with estate views.
