Looking for an upstate New York house with a pool for a 30th, 40th or 50th birthday weekend for twelve to sixteen people? The Main House at Reposé sleeps sixteen in eight king beds across seven bedrooms (up to twenty with the extra kit), with three full baths and two half, an outdoor pool, a basement lounge with an 85-inch screen, foosball, a stationary bike and a stone wine cellar on one hundred private acres in Nassau, New York — Rensselaer County, in the hills between Albany, the Hudson Valley and the Berkshires. About two and a half hours from New York City and Boston. Celebration groups take the whole house: the pool by day, the wine cellar and the big screen at night, and a chef dinner at the long table if you'd rather not cook. In the evening the party moves indoors, where there is plenty of room for it, and the land stays peaceful.

Celebrations among the guests staying at the house are welcome. Outside guests, DJs or events beyond the booked group need prior approval — ask us first and we'll tell you straight what works.

Can we book just Friday and Saturday night?
Weekends are three nights at the Main House; midweek is two. Holiday weekends may run longer. Ask about your dates — we'll tell you what is open.
Are outside guests allowed for the dinner?
The booking covers the people sleeping at the house. A few daytime visitors can often be arranged with prior approval; anything that looks like an event needs to be agreed first.
Can you arrange a chef, a cake, flowers?
Chef dinners and brunches are on our menu; we'll happily point you to local bakers and florists we trust. Tell us the occasion when you inquire.
What are the house rules for a celebration?
Quiet outdoors after 10 p.m., no smoking, no pets, no fireworks. Inside the house, it's your weekend.
